Sundays - come on down and enjoy the water!
A crusing member recently dropped me an e-mail having recently discovered Sundays as a great day for cruising and pottering about without the extensive racing programme and training that takes place on Saturdays.
So by means of a reminder - if you want to come down to the club to cruise, take the family out in a boat, practice your skills, or take part in one of the 2 fun races then come along on Sunday - almost all of the water is away from the 4 or 5 racing boats so no danger of getting in the way and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
For those that use the club boats or K2O juniors who wish to improve their Pico or RS Tera skills and have their own clothing this is a great day to take one out for a practice. (just put the gear back as you found it in the garage after use and let the club know if any damage occured or you found an issue with the boat that needs looking at - )
Tillys is open as usual and we would encourage you to buy your lunch from the Galley team so we can keep business viable on a Sunday.
The forecast this Sunday is warm sunshine and a steady force 2 to 3 - so why wouldn't you want to come down and enjoy the water?
