Bartley Sailing Club would like to invite organisations and/or individuals to submit a business proposal to deliver outdoor activities at Bartley Sailing Club. The club would like the appointed provider to deliver activities for children and adults, school, youth and corporate groups, to include disabled participants, with the intention of feeding new members to the club.
The opportunity is to run a self- funding venture with sessional rates to be paid to the club for the use of the facilities and the equipment. The appointed provider would be expected to take responsibility for the complete operation including marketing, delivery and follow up communication.
Equipment is available for the following activities –
- Dinghy sailing
- Raft building
- Buoyancy aids, wetsuits and spray tops.
- A climbing wall, canoeing and kayaking equipment may be available by separate arrangement with an affiliated organisation
All activities must be delivered according to NGB recognised standards. The appointed provider would be responsible for securing appropriate recognition to deliver these activities from the NGB and from AALS.
The club require that the appointed provider would take responsibility for basic site upkeep, equipment maintenance and refuelling of the powerboats.
Business proposals are to be submitted by 9am on the 2nd January 2018. These should include information about your organisation and your previous experience, how and to whom you intend to market the business, what activities you plan to deliver and a section on how you will help your customers become members of Bartley Sailing Club. Interviews will take place on the week commencing the 8th January.
